Nutella saludable / Healthy Nutella

Fin, disfruta!

If hazelnuts were more accesible (in every way), this would be my new obsession. It's just that something chocolatey will never be out of place in your house...

This famous spread is loved by 90% of the population, and even though I didn't use to love it, I  kinda developed some love for it now.  The thing is, it tastes better when you know you're having something pretty natural ♥. Well if you're like me.

I haven't had the chance to compare it side to side (or taste to taste) to the original Nutella, but this one tastes more like hazelnut and the sweetness of it is up to you.

It's perfect for adding it on everything,  a toast, bananas (banana freak), a rice cake, cookies, pancakes, tacos (no, wait) or to have it by itself when you crave something chocolate like. Andddd it's super easy!

You just need this ingredients.
  • 1/2 cup roasted hazelnuts. It's really important that they have a strong hazelnut flavor. Roast them for about 10 minutes at 300ºC in the oven, turning them around once in a while.
  • 2 full tablespoons of no sugar ground cocoa/cacao
  • 2-3 bags of sweetener
  • a touch of salt (more than a pinch)
Optional for extra creaminess:
  • 1 TSP oil of your choice
 What to do:
When the roasted hazelnuts have chilled, make a hazelnut butter in a processer or a blender, it should be very creamy, the hazelnuts have their natural oil. When it's done, add the rest of the ingredients and mix a bit more. You can add more sugar or cocoa to your taste, or even melt a bit of dark chocolate, I don't know :O

You can keep it at room temperature, but I prefer to keep it in the fridge.

The end, enjoy!

1 2 4 Muac,

Andrea
